New Delhi: Dixon Technologies has finalised its joint-venture agreement with original design manufacturer Longcheer Intelligence, after receiving government approval last year. The joint-venture entity, named Dixtel Infocomm, will have Dixon investing ₹7.39 crore for 74% stake and Longcheer will invest ₹2.6 crore for the remaining 26% stake. The company had announced the agreement in February 2026. The company had told investors earlier that the joint-venture agreement will lock in production volumes for the contract manufacturer. Longcheer designs and makes entry level smartphones for Vivo, Oppo, Samsung and other top brands. The JV entity was initially incorporated in 2023 as a wholly-owned subsidiary with a paid up capital of ₹10 crore. Following the agreement, the subsidiary will become a joint-venture entity with all government approvals. The JV will manufacture and supply various electronics products such as smartphones, tablets, AI PCs and smartwatches.
